Project Work
Model of energy production of an electromagnetic energy harvester
The goal of the project is to derive a model describing the energy production of an electromagnetic energy harvester. The harvester to consider is a magnetic transducer placed at the bottom of a door, moved over magnets placed on the floor, generating electrical current while the door is opened or closed. The model is based on statistics collected by a simple circuit for measuring power. The circuit is connected to a wireless network node, which sends measurements to another node connected to a personal computer where data will be stored. The model considers the working point, which is the voltage in which it is operated.
